I made a welcome sign for my Stampin' Class door. This one is for the winter / Christmas season (obvious?? ... hehehe).
I started by making the star using the Sizzix 5 Point 3-D star die from Stampin' Up! I cut the KI Snow Lace DP (All That Scraps), and sponged the edges with riding hood red before gluing it together.
I took a piece of very vanilla CS, and ran it through the Big Shot with the Snowflake Folder a couple times. I then sponged the edges with riding hood red, and added some stickles, as well. This was matted on riding hood red CS, and then I added the jumbo eyelets. The letters are adhesive foam letters that I sponged with the red (they were white). I then added the jumbo eyelets, both to the star and sign. I then used my red taffeta ribbon to attach the all together.
I added Stardust Stickles to some of the snowflakes on the DP. I punched the star and large star from the red and vanilla CS, added them with dimensionals to the big star, and then covered the vanilla one with stickles too. I will show you the new ones when I make more. Have fun and happy paper crafting!!
I love it! Great colors. Sounds like you must be feeling a little better! I hope so!
