Well, my calendar is now clear until Christmas Day!! Oh wait, I do have a gathering tomorrow, but that is for lunch so the evening is free. Yesterday was a doosy for me, though.
I got up to get Dylan on the bus, showered, got ready, did my hair, etc.
Then I had to get Jayden's gifts ready for the preschool party, and off we went. It was a gingerbread house party, and everyone got to make their own house.
EASIEST house to make I promise. You take a 250ml milk carton and hot glue it to a Styrofoam tray. Then add graham cookies to the sides and top with icing. Then, use icing to add the treats, and finally, a dusting of powdered sugar for the snow.
Doesn't he look pleased?? Actually he looks a little sick, but this is his new face for pictures - AHHHH!!
So, they exchange gifts, watch a Veggie Tales Christmas movie and then we're off to get Dylan from school.
I get everyone home and put the boys to bed, since the day is not done. There is a long evening ahead.
Dylan had his Christmas concert at 7:30, so back to Osler, we went. Here, they were singing "Happy Birthday Baby Jesus". He looks pretty good here, doncha think??
Ok, you know how there is always one kid that always does his own thing on stage? I am proud to say - "THAT KID IS MINE!!". He was shading his eyes from the spotlight and constantly looking over at me. He would see me and wave, and do it again. If he woulda been a girl, his dress would have been over his head for the way he was playing with his jeans.
I was totally embarrassed and I was ready to have a chat with him at home, until the teacher came up to me and said, "You know he really loves you for the way he tried to find you." Awwwww.
Well, now it is time for housecleaning, wrapping of gifts, baking and just last minute prep for the holidays. I also have a really neat gift idea from the Micheals $1 bin to show you later. Have fun and happy stamping!!
What cuties! Hope you and your family have a wonderful Merry Christmas.

All kids have that "face" when a camera is pointed towards them. It's when they get older and look back on those pics and say arrrggg!! You have the absolute cutest two children ever!!!! I love it when my kids, and now my grandkids, can't take their eyes off of the parents!! You are so lucky!!!
