My goals for 2009 would be to do more scrapbooking than card making. I love to do both but, my scrapbooks are falling behind. Also, I need to get on the weight-loss band wagon as well. About 25-30 lbs. would be great. I think shopping for clothes would be easier if I were in a size or two smaller. (Had a rough day out there looking for some items). Love your blog. Thanks for the chance to win.

JoAnn B

I have many goals for 2009 and hope some of them will take place...scrapbooking at least once a month...actually sending the cards that I make...keeping a journal...lose weight...must I go on?? Mainly, I want my daughters to all be happy. My mom used to say you are only as happy as your unhappiest child. My children are all grown now and have some problems that I wish I could solve for them, but I can't...so, I'll just keep praying. Take care, and thanks for the opportunity to win the blog candy.

Renee

I have got to get organized!!!!!! My dining room table is 4 feet high, my kitchen table doesn't allow anyone to sit down and eat and my office is about 6 feet high in "stuff"! I have got to get a grip and organize and throw stuff away and make the house presentable again. My hubby just sighs and shakes his head - poor baby. Then when I am finished with all of the above, I will make him tackle the garage - but don't tell him! LOL. Renee

Jeannie

I am looking forward to my two sons marrying this year. They have been my sun, and moon, and stars! But I don't mind sharing them finally with the great girls they have fallen in love with.

Kim

I am going to work on reducing the size of my thighs. I struggle with finding pants to fit because of my thighs. I'm not sure how I'm going to do this... cutting out the cookies will probably help! Thanks for the opportunity to win some blog candy. I enjoy reading your blog.

Melinda Matthews

Hey Julie,
Love your blog!
This year... get organized, enjoy a cruise to the Western Carribean, lose wt would be good, but .. we'll see. Thanks!

Cynde

I am also in the weight loss goal, but for me it needs to be more healthy lifestyle. I am also looking forward to spending more quality time with my two granddaughters!

Karen (stampin3)

I'm looking forward to getting my life more organized. I'm never organized and its become quite a problem for me, so I've started this huge progress. Also looking forward to my middle one starting school and both my girls playing soccer. Also spending some 1-on-1 time with my little boy more. Overall - a healthy and prosperous year hopefully!

Pam Furlong

My goal is to get organized...even though I'm fortunate enough to have my own craft room I feel like "Scrambled Eggs" 'cuz I'm always trying to find things!!! Thanks for all your great posts, Julie!

Sara Marquez

This year I am looking forward to enjoying life to the fullest.

Teryl

We're in the middle of having a new home built, so I'm looking forward to having our home done and all moved in!

I'm probably a little too late for this one, but hey I'm giving it a go just in case. I like you would like to lose many lbs in weight and keep it off this time. I would also like to get on a design team at some point this year. Lots of love, Denise x

Hi Julie,
What a great give away!
My goal is to also get more organized. Lose a little weight. Get more cards done. Keep my blog up...at least 3 times a week with photos of my creations. Spend more time in the Word of God as I grow closer to Him. Happy New Year and thanks for being a blessing!

Are we talking resolutions here?! Well, I would like to get my stuff organized (so that I can find it and use it!)and lose weight and get myself in shape again. Now that all 3 of my kids are in school, it is time to take care of me! I seriously love your blog and seeing all the wonderful things that you post and I have enjoyed all the neat things that you have shown us about you and your family. Thanks for sharing with us and Happy New Year!

Lacy

Happy New Year! Thanks for the chance to win some goodies. I am looking forward to making some changes in 2009 - having more patience, taking the time to smell the roses, and enjoy the little things in life. I'm also hoping to get back on track w/ exercising - it's slipped since the holidays began. I hope 2009 is wonderful for you and your family!

Melissa (SCS: stampin_melissa)

Happy New Year! I am hoping to work on my scrapping more this year and get some serious organizing/cleaning done in my craft room. :D

Renata Pacheco

Hi, Julie. My goals to 2009 are getting my scrap stuff organized (nowadays everything is on my dinner table - and above that too!); being more focused, doing one project at a time; and more organized with my money.
Thank you for all your inspiration and have a great 2009!

This year I am looking forward to taking my 7 year old daughter to Disney World for the first time. It will be my husband's first time, too. Their reactions will be fun to see! The fact that we are taking one whole week out of the Michigan January cold helps, too!
I am also on some new migraine medicine, and I have had only 1 headache in the past 3 weeks! I normally have them 3-5 times a week! So, here's looking forward to a healthy, happy year!

Nancy

First off...love your blog! You have such talent, and are a great inspiration!
Things I'm looking forward to this year are test results telling me this last round of chemo [finally] worked (will find out in a couple weeks). Losing 35 pounds (gained weight while being sick). Enjoying my son, and looking forward to my daughter coming home whenever she can from college.

Barb C

Happy New Year! My goal this year is to make more time to use as many of my stamps sets as I can. My life is very busy, but I want to start making more cards and even start scrapbooking. Keep up the good posts Julie!

Pam Delcastilho

I'm with ya sista; the weight has got to go!
The thing I am looking forward to the most is getting my little dog Abbey certified as a Therapy Dog. She passed the first of a four part test yesterday and we are on our way to a rehab center a week from Tuesday. She is a precious dog and I just felt like I should share her to bring smiles to a few faces in her last years on this earth. I am also going to GET ORGANIZED and start having classes in '09. Wish me luck!

Donna

I want to learn more stamping techniques and create some cards without copying everything. Learning how to set up a blog and upload pictures, so learning is my goal for the year.
Thanks for all the help this past year learning new ideas from your blog.
Thank you,
Donna Coffman

Jennifer

I can't believe you already have 431 comments!!! This year I will celebrate one year having a blog, I will celebrate my 10 year wedding anniversary, my boys will turn 3 and 7, and I'm sure many other surprises will come my way. Thanks so much for being an inspiration to me and many others (at least 431 others and counting). You are awesome!

Laura Leuenberger

I would love to be able to spend more time with the grandkids. They love in DC and I live in Texas, so I see them about 2-3 times a year. That is not enough! But I have a new one on the way who will be a Texan! I'd also like to get my stamp room cleaned, but there is always a project that I am working on. I've also got to get the scrapbooks finished that I am doing for the two new grandbabies. Busy, busy.
I love you blog and visit it daily. Thanks for all that you share!

Carrie C

I want to be organized, organized, organized in the new year. I'd love to clean up and organize my stamping room - so I have a place to stamp! Weight loss would be nice too. I'm pulling for you!

Diane Burns

I too plan on dropping weight, but closer to 100 pounds. I also want to try and be a more positive person. I read your blog daily and really enjoy all your ideas. Thanks!

Cara

Thanks for the great blog Julie....I am looking to get my RV organized this year, right now I am living in my RV in Arizona, hoping the weather is good when we go back to Canada in April so we can continue living in the RV. Happy New Year to you and your family.

Hi Julie, I really love your blog, your projects and tutorials are fabulous and I can't believe how prolific your posts are!! I'm lucky if my blog gets as many posts in a week/month as yours does in a day!! Now on to what I am looking forward in 2009...the number one thing for me is our new baby due to arrive in april! beyond that I am hoping for a year of increased health and order in my home.

Silvia

Hi Julie,
You and your ideas are great!!!
Let me start off by wishing you and your family the best for 2009!
This year both my husband and I will be continuing our struggle in what has been our 7 year journey, having the chance of becoming parents. Our wish, hope and resolution is to be a mother and father.
Thank you for giving us the opportunity to share our thoughts.

Fran Bosse--Canada

I hope to have my craft room and sewing room organized!. We moved two years ago and I still haven't got it done. I drag my stamping stuff to the dining room table and my DH gets very perturbed with me.

Marcia

Julie, I just love your designs. You are so creative. I hope to become as creative as you this year and as organized and disciplined to get in there and work every day (health permitting-I have cancer). It is often a struggle, but I am determined to keep trying no matter what. I want to build my Angel Company business. Thanks for keeping me inspired. Someday this year I would also love to win some blog candy-not as fattening for sure. :)

Michelle

This year, hubby and I get to look forward to getting our basement back in order. With all the flooding the midwest received in the fall, my poor foundation couldn't handle it!! We've got two huge cracks in the floor and a number of them in the foundation that need to be sealed. That's going to be our major accomplishment of the year, then we can put our walls back up and carpeting back down again! I wish you much luck with your goals for the year!
Happy New Year!!
Michelle

Marsha

Two major things I am looking forward to this year is a new grandbaby (adoption in process) and for a project -remodeling our bathroom. Hope to update more of the house but really want to get that bathroom done!
Thanks Julie for your blog.

Leanne Livingston

I am looking forward to moving into our new home that is currently under construction. I will have a craft studio that I can hardly wait for. I am looking forward to a trip to Puerto Rico with my husband as well as a year with no car accidents. I was in 2 last year. Neither one was my fault but both resulted in my vehicle being written off including my brand new car that had replaced my van that was written off. Drive safely everyone!
P.S. Love your blog! :) Happy New Year!

Claudia F.

Love your blog, so much inspiration. I'm looking forward to better health, loving my husband and children even more, enjoying nature and everything God has graced us with.

OK Julie, I too am going to say it out loud. I am going to lose weight! Wow you were right that makes it very real now the whole world knows and I have to stick to it. So got any good recipes that are low cal but taste good?

Kathy Brown

Julie,

I so want to have a room for my Stampin Up. Right now I use my dining room so I didn't have any of the dinners at my house this past holiday season because I didn't want to put everything up. Due to my mother moving to my sisters I now have an empty room..do we know what that means...watch out, it looks like my stamping room is just over the horizon!!! I would love to win this blog candy.

Kathy Brown

Trudy

I also need to lose weight. I am planning a trip to London with a friend from work and need to fit comfortably in those narrow seats they have on airplanes for that long flight. I also want to declutter. I seem to hoard things and need to break that habit. Love your blog.

Denise Bennett

Hi there Julie! I am looking forward to catching up my scrapbooks and keeping on top of the housework! Not very lofty goals, but hopefully achieveable!

Jewell

My goal is more quality time with the family. This past year was one of our best for great family trips and time spent together and I would love to do even more. As well I of course want more stamping time as this year was pretty minimal! Happy New Year!

Linda J

I see that organizing is the goal for a lot of us. I hope to have an easier time stamping once I really do get organized!!

Kay

To live in the moment. KNOWING God is with me.

beth g

I have only made one goal this year and that is to get organized. I hope this will enable me to concentrate on that one goal and give me more time to do the things I want - like stamp!! :p
beth g

jmniffer

I am looking forward to getting new kitchen appliances and new flooring on the main level of our home. I have been waiting a LONG time for this! Thanks for the chance to win some awesome blog candy. jmniffer

Hi Julie,
Like you I need to lose several pounds this year. Having been a type 1 diabetic for 34 years my body is starting to show the effects of this disease. My hopes for the new year are to lose weight, get healthier and enjoy more time with my family.
Happy blog anniversary!

Linda Yamakido

Hey Julie,

Happy New Year!

I am looking forward to finishing our remodel, whole house,,, let me tell you it is easier to move than to knock out walls and remodel from the inside of the walls out. We have been here 31 years in our 54 year old house. My craft room is last,3 ooms to go! ps. 70 lbs. you are inspiring, it is a perfect number for myself to seek. But I must start one lb at a time.

Beth

This year I want to get totally organize my house and get something in my front flower beds that will do really good and is cheap. I want to get more cards of different types done so I have them to mail out without having to stop and make them one by one.

Connie Gregoire

I am looking forward to visiting my brother and his family in Idaho - He is a five organ transplant patient still living after 8 years. He has defied all odds. Every day I get to hear his voice or spend time with him is a gift.

Rhonda

I am going to jump on the bandwagon and try to loose some weight as well. I am tired of being asked if I am pregnant. I would like to have a bit of craft time for myself. I have not had much since we moved. Have a wonderful New Year everyone and may this year be more blessed then last.

Lyn

Hi Julie,
Love the blog and your inspiration!
This year, I want to ORGANIZE: everything from my craft room, the rest of my house, all the way to myself! I need to eat healthier and lose weight and take better care of me!
Here's to a great 2009!
Happy Blogaversary!
Lyn

Rachel Rice

This year, my resolution is simple. Since I just finished my graduate degree after several years focusing on my education, I want to find a teaching job and a good guy!!!

Peggy Maier

You have some wonderful things to look forward to, Julie. I pray that you'll have the strength you need to accomplish that weight loss goal. (I have lost 30 & what a difference it made!) So... get your mind set & go for it!!! I am looking forward to practicing the organizational tips I've been reading about online & getting rid of stuff I don't need (instead of hoarding it). There are people who could use the things I have been collecting for years & it's time to let it go!

Venessa

Of course I would like to stamp and scrap more often! ( : Good quality time with my children and husband. Be more organized - that is my continual goal it seems! ( : I wish you the best in your weight loss! Thank you so much for sharing on your blog! It would be so much fun to meet you IRL! I think we would have lots of fun together! ( : Thanks for the great goodies!

I hope to get more organized, get all the stuff out of the house that we don't use and to Goodwill so someone else can enjoy it and especially get my craft room organized. It's such a mess. Happy New Year to you and yours Jackie

Malinda

This year is a bittersweet year. I am looking forward to my 20th anniversary with my husband (plus 4 years of dating), but at the same time, our oldest DD will be graduating from high school. She will be leaving home in the fall and that I am not looking forward to.
I wish you all the best in your weight loss goal - happy 2009!!

Barbra

My resolution for this year is to get more organized, both in my personal life as well as my business. That is one area I really need some help with and am reading alot on how others have organized thier lives and hopefully will succeed at getting some semblance of organization applied to those areas of my life.

Sheryl Dreyer

Happy New Year! I really enjoy your blog. I look forward to keeping my new years resolution of getting cards made and in the mail on time to everyone in my family! This has not been an easy task! LOL

Ypur paper pleasing ideas are always easy on the eyes.
This year I'm right with you on losing 70 pounds.... Today I start!
I wish you lots of success in that area because I know if we could do it other areas in our life would get better.
Lynn

Vickie

I really enjoy your blog and hearing what you are doing. I am hoping that this year I can have more sticktuitiveness than I have in the past for keeping my finances in order and my personal life on track. Like you I need to lose about 70# and I need to exercise more. I want to scrap and craft more and I am starting a blog okienurse.blogspot.com to share what I am doing with friends and family. I have promised myself to learn a new technique every couple weeks this year and to make cards and scrapbook pages every week. Working full time doesn't lend itself to a lot of extra time but Zig Ziglar always said that if you want to get something done give it to a busy person to do.

Hila Levy

I am looking forward to start my new job, and i hope it will still have enough time to scrap whenever i want to :)

Cora

Like you,I'm doing my best to loose the extra person in weight I.m carrying around, So my motto for this year is: try and try again, I SHALL succeed. Have a good and healthy 2009

Bianca

I don`t have things I must do at a beginning of the year.
When I want something I do it right away.. but I hope I`ll be as happy this year as I was on the last copple of years to be with my hubby!!

Bianca

Joanne

I am looking forward to a nice summer - after being in the deepfreeze here in Alberta for 3 weeks now AND also more time to stamp. Thanks for the chance to win.

I am looking forward to getting my life organized and building my SU business. :)

Thanks for sharing all you do!!

Rebecca Ednie

I'm looking forward to my baby sleeping through the night!!

Regina

Hi Julie,
I chose "organization" as my word for this year and I can say that I'm eagerly looking forward to bringing a sense of that into my life this year! I'm creating my own "organized" studio space for working and playing. Most of all, I'm looking forward to finding and expressing joy in my life everyday!

Cheryl

Happy New Year! I'd like to lose about 15 pounds, clean my carpet, maybe start a blog, find a new job, do a better job at cleaning my house, finish the reorganization of my stamp room, and last but not least, stamp more. I'd also like some more Stampin' Up customers. Am I wanting too much??? Love your blog. Cheryl in Reno/Sparks, NV

rebecca

I'm looking forward to a reunion of "the cousins." We're all 40-75 years of age and have been thinking about this for a long time. We're finally going to do it. I'd like to say I'm going to lose some weight, but I say that every year. It'll happen when the time's right, I guess.

Mary C

Hi Julie,

I am looking forward to getting back into our house at the end of January. We have been living in our trailer in our driveway for the last 6 months while we have built a new house. And.................in my new house I have a STAMPING ROOM!!!!!

Kari V.

Happy New Year!! Thanks for the chance to win some great goodies!! I am looking forward to spending time with my family and crafting more! Thanks for all of you time and effort in to this blog!! You are such an inspiration! I can't wait to see what you will create in the new year!

GailSK

Happy New Year Julie! Awesome blog candy! I look forward to doing a bit of travelling this year. My dh and I rarely go anywhere together but so far we have a trip to Las Vegas planned in March and hopefully somewhere warm next Christmas! I also look forward to more and more stamping and scrapping this year!

Brenda Manz

Oh, Julie, you don't look as if you have 70 lbs to lose! So can we still have 'cupcakes' with our party??? Just love, love love all the cool embellishments, and wonderful cards you are giving us a sneak peak with!!! thanks for being a source of inspiration during the past two years~keep up the good work.
Hugs & Sunshine, Brenda

Mo Moss

I too would like to loose fifty pounds. I would say I am looking forward to that, but, I am afraid that I will not do it. I am looking forward to getting my knee replaced. Or at least fixed the ole' one. I look forward to more of your wonderful cards that you do each day and all of your tutorials that you will offer this year. Best of luck to you and GOD Bless

jeanne nielsen

I'm with you on the weight loss! Why does is go on so easily, but take so much work to come off! I'm looking forward to more stamping time -- I hope to start a blog in the next week or so, which should keep me honest about my stamping I'm thinking. I also work overnight as a nurse, so I'm putting much more effort into sleeping (for some that's easy -- for me, it's always been difficult -- I'm shooting for avg. 6-7 hours per night (I'm usually good for 4-5 on average!!). Thanks for sharing! Jeannie

Lisa Page

Very cute candy! I mean it really looks like candy! Cool- I'll play. Thanks for the chance! Here goes- I look forward to NOT smoking and therefore coughing my lungs out. I look forward to becoming more of a business SU! demo than a hobby demo. I look forward to seeing my kiddos growing everyday and becoming great young people. I look forward to exuding kindness rather than expecting it! None of that stuff in any specific order! Happy New Year, Julie!

Eileen McClean

way to go with your resolution and all the best with your goals, I will join you on the weight loss,am planning for 50 lbs to go ,want to do more workshops and expand my customers as I moved to St alber a year ago so it is all new people. Thanks for your inspiration, love your blog
Eileen

Diane

Hi Julie. I'm with you on the weight loss issue! I would like to clear one of the rooms in our house so that we can make an exercise room. We are pastors in Singapore and travel a lot so it is difficult to have a consistent exercise routine or join a gym. I am hoping that an exercise room will keep us motivated! So, that is one of the things I would like to do in 2009. Have a great 2009, Julie. I appreciate looking at your posts and seeing your lovely work. It inspires me!!
Diane

NancyS

Happy New Year, Julie. Thanks for giving us an opportunity to share our thoughts and maybe even get an embellishment package. Here goes:

Yes, yes, of course, I want to lose weight. I am tired of being embarassed by how I look. I am REALLY looking forward to losing part of me. Then I am looking forward to gaining new knowledge, learning new things, and volunteering in whatever small ways I can to help the world recover its equilibrium.

Warm wishes for a wonderful 2009,
Nancy.

Brenda H.

Happy New Year Julie! Thanks for this chance to win sweet candy! I'm looking forward to growing more spiritually and spending more time in intercessory prayer. I also want to start exercising...note that I didn't say "look forward to"...ugh! I just know that I should work at being more healthy. Also, I want to "balance" my paper crafting and computer time...and actually spend more time creating cards to share with others.
All the best as you work on your goals...you can do it!
Blessings,
~Brenda H.
