Q: What size are the jars? (This Post)
A:I'm not sure what you want to know. I did post the amount it holds (about 2 ounces) in the original post. The actual size of the jar is about 1 3/4 X 2 high. Hope this helps.
Q: Where did I buy the jars?
I bought them through a Canadian company called Victorian Epicure. Sorry, they do not sell to the USA yet, and I can buy them as a consultant for them. I am pretty sure that I have seen jars this size at my local $1 store, and I'm pretty sure Walmart or Micheals would have something that would work. You can also get them HERE.
Q: Is the re-inkers going to stain my tub?
No Worries, Mate!! One little drop in a big tub full won't even change the color of the water. I just say not to use alcohol / solvent inks, so that I cover my big behind...LOL
Q: Is it toxic to humans?
Well, I won't speak for any other brand of ink, but Stampin' Up! re-inkers say NON TOXIC right on the bottle. I have very sensitive skin (eczema), and I have never had a problem. I would only say to not use it if you are allergic to color or dyes.
Q: Where do you get essential / fragrance oils?
I actually got mine at the local Salvation Army store before Christmas. I did check online, though, and you can buy Essential Oils from stores like "The Body Shop" or "Bath and Body Works". If you know of any stores that have an aromatherapy section, they will usually be in there.
I hope this helps you a bit! If you have any more questions, post them in the comment section below, and I will try to answer them as best I can.
how would you remeasure is you wanted to use bigger jars? I mean the case you put them in

Thanks for taking the time to answer these questions. I just love this project and have plans to make up a ton of these...well, perhaps not a ton, but you know what I mean. :)

Thanks for going the extra step and supplying the links. I don't have any need for the containers RIGHT NOW, but have bookmarked it as a great looking resource.

Julie,
I just wanted to let you know that I found the 2 oz. glass hexagon jars at: www.specialtybottle.com. They are 47 cents a piece and come in a case of 24. I hope this helps your readers. Mary

You can also get essential oils from the health food store and they should be able to tell you the medical properties of the oils. For example lavender is relaxing. Keep in mind that there is a difference between fragrance and essential oils. Only essential oils will give you any benefits other then smell nice.
