Some folks in Splitcoast have started using a new keyword when posting a card to the gallery. It has to meet certain criteria, though, Clean And Simple. I decided to embrace this new technique, since my card HERE got a mention in the favorites boards (I'm flattered, Miss Boo). To be assured, I am not so good at this technique. I LOVE layers, and embellies, and if I see an empty spot on my card, I feel the need to fill it. So, these CAS cards were not so simple for me, but I hope you like them.
My favorite is the last card; something about the colors, just makes me cheerful. I used the crimper on the bottom, and then just punched out hearts from 3 different sheets of DP in 3 different packs - Sweet Always, Candy Lane and Delicate Dots (SAB). I popped u to of the smallest hearts, and then added the sentiment from the SAB set Yummy. I also really like how the crimping just the right touch of texture, so it isn't PLAIN white. Demonstrators, this would be a GREAT card for a newbies class. Have fun and happy stamping!!
I love these cards. Each of the color schemes evokes a different emotion/feeling. Love 'em!

They're beautiful, Julie! I'm not good at CAS cards, either -- all that white space just makes me nervous! ;)

Your cards are great! I, too, can't seem to make a less than involved card. However, you came up with the perfect compromise. Once again, you set the bar and are still my favorite Canadian!!!

I think the simple clean cards you made are very nice. I am going to try something similar.
Julie, I have lost my email feed from your blog. When I try to sign up again it says the feed has been suspended by Paper Pleasing Ideas. Do you know what is up with that?
