After my scallop edge tutorial HERE, you would not believe the emails I got saying I would not be able to do that with the eyelet punch because the scallops have 3 within the one. Well...
My perfect eyelet edge! I did go through 3 scraps of CS to figure it out, but I got 'er done, and I think it looks fabulous. I have already made the video tutorial for it, and will edit / upload it right away.
Do you like my color combo - riding hood red, pink pirouette, and going grey? I think it looks rather subtle, but that pop of red, really sets it all off. I used Inspired By Nature for the grass, inking it up first with pink, and then adding some ruby red with the marker. I sponged the edges with the grey and the roughed it up with my cutter kit *love that little tool.* I then matted it on some Candy Lane DP, and then my riding hood eyelet rectangle. I put some silver brads in the corners, but I think I could have actually left them off.
My base is textured gray, and more DP on the left side. I tied on the basic gray taffeta, and stamped the sentiment in the corner. The image panel was then added with dimensionals. I thought my top corner was a little empty, but wanting to keep this an Stampin' Up! Only card, I faux pierced with my mat pack and marker.
The butterfly is from Dreams du Jour in gray and cut out. I glued only the body down and then added dazzling diamonds to it (wow, gray does not show sparkle at all!). All in all I think it looks pretty good, have fun and happy stamping!!
Tutorial is now live HERE.
THANKS FOR SHARING YOUR TUTORIAL! I WILL TRY IT SOMETIME WHEN I FEEL REAL DARING! SANDY IN NH

I do NOT have a realistic looking butterfly!!" and the lo and behold it's from Dreams du Jour (sp?) and I DO Have that! Sheesh! I need professional help!!! Awesome job on both the card and the tutorial!!!
