Hunny Bunnies Preview

  Ok, I do know that I say this alot during All That Scraps release time, but KA-UTE!!  Christine just has the sweetest ideas and gets them into stamp form so perfectly.

This set (as well as the rest) are going to be released tomorrow night ~ YAY!! 

I did some cool things on this card.  First, I never had the color yellow CS I needed, so I drew around the edge with my Copic on the bunny panel.  This makes it look like another layer with no added bulk.  The ribbon is actually the new white organza from Stampin'Up!, and I just colored the center panel yellow with the same marker.

I added some Doodlebug Sugar Coated brads, and then some Star Dust Stickles onto the egg.

I used the Mojo Monday 63 for my sketch.  When I am in a rut, I'll look for a good sketch, and that usually gets me going!  Have fun and happy stamping!!

Preview Gingersnap ~ Spring Things

  On one of the other posts that are going to come up whilst I am cruising the Caribbean, I put the temperature of the day I posted most of these up.

You will then know, why I am making such cheery cards, because I am trying to wish in spring.  And with this adorable release, it is not going to be hard to dream about!

Preview Mushrooms

  Look at the cute little bunny peeking his head out.  The is one of the new images in Diane's new set, Mushroom Friends.  It will be available on March 1 over at All That Scraps.

I stamped him with Memento Black on white and then colored it all with Copics.  I matted on mellow moss, and then the brocade blue CS.  I had used my ticket corner punch to make my edge, and YES, I made a video tutorial!  I sponged the edges, and also did some faux stitching.

My base layer is mellow moss, and then used some Costco DP for the orange layer.  I added a strip of moss, and the the wide grosgrain.  I stamped the sentiment in chocolate on the base and image panel, and attached it with dimensionals.

After I put it all together, I wasn't happy with it, it seemed to be missing something.  So, I pulled out my Angel Wings Shimmerz, and painted it over the mushroom and flowers.  You can't see it in the picture, but it is so sparkly now!  Now head over to the ATS Blog to see more samples, and information on how you can win this set.  Have fun and happy stamping!!

Hi, Friends

 

   Aren't these cards so cheery!?!  I got the color combo from the Urban Garden DP, and wanted to have fun with them.  The sentiment is from some new RUBBAH that AmyR is releasing over at All That Scraps on March 1.  It is called Friend Sentiments and it is jam packed full (25 stamps) of great words to use for your friends.

Each flower is a different punch and each have a different center.  The color are baja breeze, pacific point, barely banana and certainly celery.  The stems and grass were drawn in with a marker, after the flowers were glued on.

I used a button (Stampin' Up), an adhesive gem, and Liquid Pearls for the different centers.  The leaves were made by cutting the petals off another flower.  I then scored along the top, and added a strip of pacific point CS in between.

These cards measure 2 3/4 X 4 1/4 when they are folded.  A perfect size for a quick note to hand someone just to let them know you are thinking of them!  They are so quick and simple, but look so cute.  Now head over to the ATS Blog for more samples and your chance to win. Illumintated Thanks

 I really like this card!  I used pieces of the Specialty DP for this card, from Parisian Breeze and To The Nines.

I used Bayou Blue (Not Quite Navy would work), and Kraft CS.  I stamped the Thanks sentiment from Illuminations on the DP, and then on the CS.   I cut out the "T", and added it to the previous image with dimensionals.  The edge corners were punched and then the edges sponged with sahara sand ink.  I matted it on the bayou that was punched as well.

The base DP was also sponged with sahara, and I added the eyelets (I never seem to use those, so I put on 6 to make up for it...LOL).  I added the layer of Kraft CS, that had been punched with the ticket corner punch along the straight edge.  I also dotted each dip in the scallop with my NQN marker, though that did not show well.  I tied on the bayou ribbon, and then this layer was added to the bayou base with dimensionals.

I wanted to put the image panel on an angle, but with the ribbon, it wasn't working right.  I took my 1/2 circle punch, and notched out an area for the knot, and attached it with dimensionals, as well.

This card is for my parents.  They are staying at house from this Feb. 28 - Mar. 8, while we are on our CRUISE!!!  YAY!!  We are going to be on the Norwegian Cruise Lines ~ Pearl on a Western Caribbean cruise.  If you are going to be on board, and you see me, make sure you say "Hi"!!  Have fun and happy stamping!!

Backwoods Birthday

  I really like this new Backwoods stamp set for the guy cards.  The trees are a separate image from the deer, so it makes it perfect for masking, which I did here.  I stamped him in close to cocoa, masked him off, added the trees, and sponged in the sky and grass.  I then used a stipple brush to add color to the trees.

I used some always artichoke CS, that was scalloped on one side and sponged with chocolate.  I also added a strip of the chocolate CS before gluing on the image.

The To the Nines DP is great for guys cards, as well, and that is what is matted on top of the textured chocolate chip CS.  I did some faux stitching along the top edge.  I added a strip of chocolate CS, and then tied on the rope card from the Christmas mini.  I bought it and this is the first it using it!!  I did buy it for guy cards, though, since they won't care if you tie a rope to their cards...LOL.  I also added some of the new Jumbo Brads, and stamped on the sentiment.  Finally, I attached the image panel with dimensionals.  Hope this inspires you to make something for the guys, have fun and happy stamping!!

A Little Organization

Can go a LONG way to helping us crafters out!

   See those punches on the rods above my ink pads?  They were all on my desk until last night!  The other 4 rods were there already, but they were kinda full.  Yep, I was running out of room to stamp.  Now, I have room to stamp, AND they are still right where I can see them!  I got the curtain rods at the $1 store for, you guessed it $1.  So for the EXTREMELY LOW price of $2, I got 25 punches up and organized.  Course, now I have to buy more rods, because these are full...LOL.  Now, I have no more punches at this moment to hang up, but you know that with the next catty I will...BWAHAHAHAHA!! 

  I do have more punches, but they cannot hang up like the others.  There is about 25 in this drawer. 

I hope this gives you a little organization idea.  And it can be done without your hubby there..hehehe.

White, Black and Sassy

  Isn't this a cute box?  Kris made this by using my card purse tutorial, but she left off the handles.  Why not, it stays closed on it's own, and it looks good standing there!
