I wanted to make a mini version of the purse HERE. I thought it would make a cute holder for Valentine Cinnamon Hearts.
Awww, so cute, hey ? The birds wings are covered wit dazzling diamonds for some added sparkle. It is only 3.5 inches tall (without the handles), and 3 inches wide. I have a written tutorial for you, with a template, so you can make them up in a hurry.
You can click on the template to enlarge it, and here are the measurements for you.
- 1 piece of Cs measuring 3 X 8.5
- 1 piece of CS measuring 3 X 7
- 2 pieces of CS measuring .5 X 8.5
- pieces of DP and CS for decorating
You need to score the 3 X 8.5 piece at 3.5 and 5. You need to score the 3 X 7 pieces at .5, 2, 5, and 6.5. Across the bottom, you will score it at .5 and then cut out the 2 parts shown in the template.
When adding the pocket to the purse, put one side on first, then the other. The bottom goes on last, and attaches right to the base of the purse. Now add your handles to the top, and fill with the desired treat! Have fun and happy stamping!!
Thanks so much for writing such an AMAZING rainbowrific post over at DC! If I can ever repay the favor, do let me know, although I'm not sure I can live up to your standards!
