Whenever I feel like I am loosing my mojo, I go and take a peek through the sketches on SCS. This one caught my eye right away, it is a Z-Fold card. I don't think I have made one of these since THAT challenge, so I decided to make it for you.
The cala lily image is from my newest digi stamp set, Easter Blessings, available NOW over at All That Scraps!! I printed it off on my white CS, and colored it with Copics.
Bonus - when you buy this set, NO SHIPPING CHARGES! It is emailed to you, moments after you purchase it. You can literally start "stamping" with it right after you buy it and don't even have to leave your chair .
I cut out my image with the oval template from the Coluzzle, a little smaller than was necessary. This way, I could let some of the image hang over. I roughed up the edges with my cutter kit, and matted it on a scallop oval (Tutorial Here). I then punched a rectangle slot for my ribbon to slide through.
Here is the card open. The ribbon is for more than just for looks, it holds the card closed! When you make a Z-Fold card, you fold the card like you normally would, BUT then fold the front flap back. I added rose red CS, and Bella Birds DP to the front flap. Before I adhered the DP to the inside piece, I ran it through the printer for the sentiment. It remains hidden behind the image until the card is opened - totally fun. I then added the brads on 1/4 circles to the front flap for some added embellies, and then I glued on the image. It only gets glued to the flap - BE CAREFUL!!
Well, head over to All That Scraps now to get your own Easter Blessings ~ only $7 for unlimited printing possibilities!! But first, leave your name here for a chance to win. I will draw 2 names on Wednesday to win the set. If you have already bought it (receipt required), I will refund your purchase. So, there is no loosing out! Have fun and let's start stamping!!
A great card and wonderful set. Thanks for the Candy.

Great card as always. I never really paid attention to digi stamps. Might be fun to try for a change. Quick question - the brads are they a light pink on a darker pink circle or are they some kind of a special brad. I never thought about adding a darker circle under the brad before. Boy, I learn all kinds of stuff from you! Thanks for sharing your pretty card. If I don't win the set - I may just have to try the digi method - sure save on postage like you said!

I really like the idea of digital stamps, but I use Copic markers and am worried about the ink smearing because the ink smeared on one of the Copic Color Charts that I printed to color in. Only one has smeared of the three that I printed(I let them all dry overnight). I will have to continue to investigate this before I invest in digital stamps. Your lovely card certainly makes digital stamps look appealing.
