Since you asked for the tutorial on the card HERE, I obliged. Though, I should have known *wink*, that you would want one!!
First, you will need to gather your supplies for the project :
- crystal effects(craft lacquer)
- glitter
- acetate
- card stock (same size as the acetate)
- stazon ink
- line image stamp
I used only 2 colors of glitter, but depending on your image, you may need more than this. Good thing Stampin' Up! has so many options!!
First, you need to stamp the image you chose onto the acetate with Stazon. BE VERY CAREFUL !! The surface is smooth, so it an smudge easily. If that happens, wipe it off with rubbing alcohol, let dry and try again. Let it dry for a few minutes, or help it along with a heat tool. When using the heat tool, make sure you don't burn or warp the acetate!
Then you need to turn it over (flowers are reversed in second photo). Then you can add Crystal Effects as closely to "in the lines" as you can. I figure out where the colors of glitter are going to go, and I put the CE for all one color at the same time. In this picture, I am doing the flower petals.
Then you need to pour your first color of glitter down. Shake off the excess (I use coffee filters!), and put down the CE in the next areas for glitter. I did the leaves, and then added the green glitter.
Here is a back and front shot. The back will look all blotchy, but from the front, the lines separate everything, so it looks prettier. I let mine dry for awhile (10-20 mins.) You need to attach the acetate to the CS with brads, since glue would show through. Then make your card. I'll show mine later, for it had not completely dried. Have fun and happy stamping!!
This is beautiful! Thanks for the tutorial!
