And I ended up with a zoo!
See, Jayden had school on Tuesday afternoon, and had nothing for show and tell. It was supposed to be for Easter, so aside from a basket or a Bible, I was lost. Then I remembered all the punched bunnies I have seen on SCS, and decided to whip him up one.
This is the end result. ADORABLE - and the kids have been putting on puppet shows for whomever will listen! I had wider popsicle sticks with a rounded top, but you can put them on regular sticks too. No worries, I will tell you what you need for each . I used ONLY Stampin' Up! punches and cardstock.
Bunny : {1} 1 3/4 white circle, {2} white large ovals, {2} pink small ovals, {2} 1/2 white circles, {1} 1/4 pink circle, {3} 1/4 black circles. Assemble as pictured and draw on whiskers.
Monkey : {1} 1 3/4 cocoa circle, {1} 1 3/16 caramel circle, {2} 3/4 cocoa circles, {2} 1/2 caramel circles, {1} caramel large oval, {2} 1/2 white circles, {2} 1/4 black circles. Assemble as shown, add small triangle for nose and draw a mouth.
Lion : {1} mustard scallop circle, {1} 1 vanilla circle, {1} mustard 5 petal flower, {2} 1/2 mustard circles, {1} 1/4 black circle {2} 1/4 white circles. Assemble as shown, add part of a scallop circle for top of head, draw in eyes and whiskers.
Pig : {1} 1 3/4 blush circle, {1} 3/4 blush circle, {2} 1/8 black circles, {2} 1/4 white circles, {1} blush 5 petal flower. Assemble as shown, with the 5 petal flower cut for ears. I forgot to put them on before I glued on the face, so I had to cut ears. Draw in eyes and mouth.
Hippo: {1} 1 3/4 grey circle, {2} 3/4 circles, {2} 1/2 white circles, {4} 1/4 black circles, {1} grey large oval, sponged, {1} white word window, cut in half. Assemble as shown.
Bear : {1} 1 3/4 chocolate circle, {3} 3/4 cocoa circles, {2} 1/4 white circles, {1} 1/4 black circle. Assemble as shown, using a bit of a black circle for mouth. I used 1/2 circles for the ears, but they were to small, so I typed 3/4 for you to use. Draw in eyes and mouth line.
Instead of having punched eyes, I think googlie eyes would be cute. I did not have any on hand, though. These would be great for a quick craft for kids. I know it is not as stunning as THIS, but the rection was every bit as enthusiastic. All punches are available HERE. Have fun and happy punching!!
These are fab - I was sent link here by a fellow demo
