I hope I'm not the only one in love with this card that I am about to show you. I have seen so many cards floating around with a new watercolor technique. Everyone else was using the rose from Fifth Avenue Floral, so of course, I had to pick a different image.
Yes, I know it is simple - but oh so GORGEOUS !!
I stamped the flowers on shimmery white CS with WHITE craft ink. I then embossed them with CLEAR embossing powder. I sprayed the CS with water and using my aqua painter, I add reinker (elegant eggplant) to the petals. It spreads out on the water, some areas darker than others. You can see a video tutorial HERE. I let them dry while I went out for supper (YUM-MO LASAGNA), came home and cut them out. I added the half pearls from the pretties kit to the centers and used the Big Shot to cut out my little leaves.
The Top Note Die was used the the Kraft Textiles CS, and then I attached the flowers and the leaves. The only flower adhered with dimensionals is the top one, the rest are glued. The sentiment is from Thoughts and Prayers and was stamped in sahara sand. I finally used dimensionals to attached the whole thing to the white card base. I have no idea who I am giving this to, but I hope they loe it as much as I do. Have fun and happy stamping!!
Julie , oh my i love your roses cards and I would love to make some just like yours ... thank you for the layering of the 3- roses wow I know they will be beautiful.
Thank you so much .
Mary.

You can send this one my way because I love it, too! I've tried this technique and like the results. It's so easy if you have the patience to wait to finish the card :) I have speeded the drying time by using my heat tool on the back and holding it at a distance from the cs.

Your card is awesome in its simplicity. I love all your work! Did you run the Top Note die through the crimper/corrugator after you stamped it? Looks like it, but I don't think you mentioned that. Maybe it's the cardstock.
