Amy's newest stamp set (available at All That Scraps) is beautiful. Butterflies lends itself to a certain elegance with the realistic look of the stamps.
I used watercolor paper for the base of the card, and used THIS TUTORIAL to get the sponged frame. I then stamped the sentiment in black. I tore the bottom edge and sponged that, as well, before adding the ribbon.
I stamped the butterfly on CS and colored it with my Copics (the Calgary Copic Certification class is SOLD OUT). I cut it out and adhered only the body to the card. I folded the wings up a bit, so it would look like it was flying right off of there.
My other card HERE, had a vellum overlay that the butterfly was attached to. You can check out what the other DT Members did on the ATS Blog. Have fun and happy stamping!!
What a clean and uncluttered card. Beautiful butterfly and I love the way you did the background. Thanks for the tutorial and for the inspiration.
