So, here is my newest craft room addition! This is the Expedit bookcase from IKEA, with the attached desk. I also bought 2 door and 2 drawer inserts, but I only have one of each in there yet. It fit perfectly (with the Alex beside) in the spot where the old desk sat. I have more room, though, because I don't have the "U" shape. So, I now have 6" X 6" wall of storage space, as well. There are going to be some shelves on the wall above this, too, but right now, I just have to finish getting everything organized.
So, here's how you know I am going to have a lot of room to store stuff in each self. Jay (who is 5), was totally hiding in there when I came in the room...LOL. I better hurry up and fill them up, so it does not become the newest game for him to play!!
The holder for my ink pads is a wooden cassette holder.
I just want to tell you its all your fault... i now NEED to change my craft space after seeing yours... i need that bookcase and those draw units.. and the wooden tape rack... my other half isn't very happy but a girl has to do what a girl has to do lol.. thanks for sharing your awsome space..hopefully mine will look as good when i complete it :)

Where did you get the mini stackable storage cabinet that is located under the desk on the left side? I looked at IKEA and didn't find anything that was quite right. Thanks for any info you can give me.

Let me take a minute and wipe the drool from my chin.... LOVE your craft room! Where did you get the drawer system to the left of your desk? Is it IKEA too? We have one of the large Expedit bookcases like yours that we are using in my dining room for crafts and toys. I love how easy it is to organize in it!

OHH MY Julie, excuse me while I get a tissue to wipe the drool running down my chin :0)~~
I can't say enough positive words to describe how wonderful your Crafting Studio is ~ I'm so totally envious!
Our Godson has a smaller version of your wall storage unit, where he has these cool matching storage cases & boxes, that too were available at IKEA in a huge array of colours (I'm sure you've seen them).
OHH please ensure you inform Jay, that he would have won that round of Hide'N Seek , as it took me several moments just to spot where he was, all smiling & curled up :0)

Julie this is fabulous! You are going to love your Expedit! I found that I like the clean look of the drawers and baskets, so now I need more to fill em all up. Hee hee. One thing at a time. You can seriously get so much stuff stored on those shelves. :)

I love your new setup but I REALLY like the smiling decoration in the bottom cube!

Do you like your inkpad holder? I was thinking of buying the stampin up one, but I didn't want to take up desk space...so the wall idea is great. Do the ink pads stay in well or do they fall out easily?
Thanks so much for all your information it truely is a blessing!

Hi Julie
Love the new set up. Can you tell me where you got your set up with the multiple drawers? I need just that many! Thanks
Jules

I love your set-up. I also love the great buy for the ink pad holder. Do they hold the Versa Mark, Gold and Silver pads as well?
Thanks for sharing
