I noticed you've changed the way you store your punches since earlier this year when you had them on the rods. Others have asked and I'd like to know too--what are you using in these new photos to store your punches? (And what brand/color paint did you use? That's the color I've been wanting to use too!) Please write another post about your new punch storage! Thank you!!!

Why does IKEA have to be hundreds of miles from me??? I am SO envious! hehe I have a stamping room, which I appreciate, but I need more storage! Everyone says I have too much stuff, but that's not possible in my opinion!!! :D I love your room...CONGRATS!

Wow, WOW, WOW!!! Beautiful room!! Can't wait to see it complete!

Hey, my desk looks just like this one (a lot messier though)! I like the way you have everything set up - very neat. I'll be looking for an Alex next time I go to Ikea!

I also have Alex... and I did something different with him that you might like. Depending upon where he'll be living... I ended up taking out the second and third drawers, and then attaching towel bars on the sides of him, and putting the drawers back in. Then I can hang things from the sides. Also makes him easier to move around the room.

Looks Great!! I too have an ALEX!! I love him!! The top drawer is all SU punches and they now overflow to the second!!. I am about to get the new smaller ALEX drawers to go under my VIKA AMON desk instead of having the shelve thingys!!

IKEA rocks!! lol

Looks AWESOME so far!! Enjoy!

Hi renee

luv your room. how did you get your punches to stay on the wall

OOOH AAAH... any chance for a visit from you to Michigan to help me set up my area too? Ha

Wow!! That looks awesome. I predict MANY amazing projects will be rolling off of that desk in the near future! WTG.... you look great, too, BTW!!! Keep up the good work!

I wish mine were like that! I'm working on it! Congrats on the job well done!

Hi Julie -

I have 2 Alex's, one mounted on top of the other (I placed small pieces of rubber shelving liner to keep them from shifting and they have been fine for the last year). I took the casters of off one Alex and mounted it on the other. On the bottom Alex I removed the casters and put straight, non-moving legs (also purchased from IKEA). The Alex's store most of my stamps, almost time for more Alex's to join the family!

It looks amazing!! Absolutely stunning. What I would't do to create a dream area like that. When I craft I like to have background stuff going on - usually have a DVD going or something. I currently use half a ping pong table as my craft table and I have stuff EVERYWHERE which is something I must deal with soon! I've got pain purchased to re-paint the basement but I'm not thinking I might want to use one of the bedrooms in the basement ... oh the decisions!!

How exciting!!! Enjoy your day!!!

Cant wait to see a picture of it done before you stamp.

Alex is mighty cute..who are his parents? Ikea??

Soooo nice! My heart skipped a beat when I saw this pic! You must be thrilled!
