I decided to make 2 cards with Amy's latest set, just to show you a couple different ways you can take this. It comes with 13 different snowflakes in a ton of sizes and 4 sentiments. Here is a simple card.
Using just one ink color and CS, I created a simple, but lovely card. I stamped the snowflakes in real red, matted it on real red CS and then added the buttons to the centers.
The white base was scored 1/2 inch and 1 inch from the bottom so I had a place for my sentiment and the paper piercing. I then attached my image panel with dimensionals. This one would be great for mailing, if you took off the buttons, or left off the dimensionals.
Now for my favorite card with this set.
I pulled out my 2 favorite colors to make this card, soft sky and pink pirouette. I stamped my own patterned paper with the snowflakes and then added the sentiment band. I kinda followed an idea I saw once on Debbie's blog.
I added the ribbon and a vintage button from my Mom's stash. I think it is soft pretty, and not in the traditional colors, so that makes it GREAT for me this year!
I love all your cards... they are BEAUTIFUL!! Great job!
God bless-
Amanda
