I had to try this right away. The paper I found seems to be thicker or crisper than what you used - yours seems almost transparent. Also, the edges were hard to roll. I tried using a knitting needle to get it to curl better, but no luck. I ended up having to fold and crease and then relaxing that as I rolled. So mine look more like roses, I guess. But I love making them. Yes, I am serious about my paper-crafting.

Some times things created artificially appeal more than the Natural ones. Your Floral designs are just like that, Colors full of variety and finishing at its extreme.

I really like these! It is so much more economical to make our own 3-D flowers than purchasing Primas and others. Thank you for the tutorial!

Thanks for your tutorial. I'm a middle-school art teacher. A bunch of my girl students were ahead of the rest of the class on a project, so I sat them all down and we made cards using the flower idea you showed. We didn't have a punch, I drew a template for the flower, and they simply traced it. They LOVED the flowers, and it was cool to see how each person adapted the flowers to their own liking.
Thanks

Beautiful card!! May be just my computer, but I can't get the tutorial to open. I've tried it several times today and each time I get the message, "An error occurred, try again later". Just wondering if it works for everyone else. Can't wait to see how you make the flowers!

Love this! I actually just made a card design using this technique with the new flower punch! I used pages out of an old book though for a text print to make the petals with the vintage vogue set.....and as of a few days ago, I am a new Stampin Up demonstrator!

Thank you Julie for the great video... so glad that you like making them, because I like to watch them!
Did I hear you say that you ran the paper through the crimper? I just wanted to make sure I had heard you correctly... the pink paper just didn't look like it had been crimped... but maybe because you had wadded it up it looked different.... anyway, thank you so much.
