I needed to make a 50th birthday card for a guy, so I used a new fold instead of a lot of embellishments.
This is the front if the card. This Autumn Traditions DSP has soft suede in it, which translates into GREAT colors for a guy.
The only embellishments on here are the build-a-brads with some CS on them. It think it works really well with the card, and it's not too much.
This is the card opened up - is that not the coolest thing EVAH !! For those that have made it before, you are asking what took me so long ... hehehe. We signed our names on the bottom rectangle, but for a more feminine card, look at all the areas available for embellishing!! You can find the tutorial HERE. Have fun and happy stamping!!
Nice work! I like making these! I'm sure you've already noticed it too, but that middle space where your sentiment is is a perfect size to make a pocket for a gift card - I've done that as well as just attached a gift card with a couple of glue dots. I think it makes a neat presentation!

Oh Julie...........I just love the tri fold shutter cards...........I've made them before but THIS one is just too gorgeous for words.
