I'm glad that you are all appreciating the tutorial I made the other day. I was asked where got the inspiration from, so I decided to let you know, though, I did mention it ---> HERE <--- (it was a long time ago). I could not post this earlier, as I have been in meetings since Friday in Edmonton (6 hours from home). I never did claim to make this up on my own, but I should have REAFFIRMED where I got my idea from, since it was back in March when I first posted this project on my blog.
Like I said way back then, I saw some albums in the Splitcoast Gallery, and was emailed by several people asking to show them how it was done, and THEY pointed me to them. I had not seen them before that. All I did was make 2 cards and put them together opposite ways!! All thanks goes to Bonnie for making such a great tutorial on that type of card. The only thing I changed was to add them to an extra piece of CS to make the album, not hard at all. Isn't that awesome, how she shared so FREELY?!? I obviously did not figure it out and kudos to those who posted their new found ideas on Splitcoast, so that I could also figure it out and share it with YOU !! Please accept my apologies, though, for not mentioning it again in my tutorial. That was my mistake and I take full responsibility for that, and ask your forgiveness. I hope you can enjoy the album tutorial, and make one yourself!! Tootles, have fun and happy scrappping !!
Julie
Ditto to all the above posts here too. Great job!

Julie: You are much too kind to put the weight of this on your shoulders. Honestly, everything that anybody post on their blogs or splitcoast could be linked back to "somebody" somewhere. Relax girlfriend - you took the time to make your tutorial and honestly posted ahead of time that this wasn't your creation.....Be good with all of that. I never heard you say that this wasy Your Creation......All is good Julie. Thanks for your post but we just need you to give up now. Keep doing the amazing work that you do. LOVE YOUR IDEAS and post.

Seriously?
You're apologizing for doing all that work and sharing with your followers who have not seen that card before and OBVIOUSLY learned something new from it?
For Heaven's sake!
If I posted EVERY person I EVER got an idea from or where I learned ANY technique or trick, all I'd do is have lists and lists of names and never get anything done!

You dont need to ask forgiveness Julie, you made a fabbi creation and took the time to do instructions and I for one and pleased you did, and to share it for free is a real credit to you!! Thankyou a million times over!!

Credit is fine, but sometimes we give credit to someone who wasn't the originator either!
Do what you can, but spend more time stamping & sharing. Love it! That research to find the originator can take hours & still not be right.

I didn't get to post a comment on your tutorial as I was having issues with Google that day, but I just wanted to say that sometimes it's near impossible to find out who the original ''creator'' of an idea was. Once it's out there, we all add our own twists and ideas to make them "ours". It's sort of like playing the old telephone game where you whisper in one person's ear and they the next and so on. By the time it gets to the end, it's not the same message as it started out being, KWIM?
Anyway, It's all good, Julie. You rock! :)
