This song is so powerful, for me, and I hope it touches someone out there. I even have it as a ringtone on my phone ... hehehe. Today, I had to change my cell phone and take Russ' old number (business reasons). That was hard, and then my sister phoned, and Russ' voice is still on the answering machine. Yeah, so I'm not going to change that for awhile. I then found this song in my ringtones and had to add it ... and listen to it all the way home. DRAINS on the cell battery, but worth it.
Here is the chorus:
I’ve seen dreams that move the mountains
Hope that doesn’t ever end
Even when the sky is falling
I’ve seen miracles just happen
Silent prayers get answered
Broken hearts become brand new
That’s what faith can do
I don't know if you even realize what an inspiration you are to me.
I am sure you are not a rock all the time, and I am sure there are days when you feel more like pudding. But you still know how to look heaven ward and put one foot in front of the other and keep going. God bless you and your family today, tomorrow and in eternity.

so sorry to hear of your great loss. it has to be so hard for you and your boys but with the Lord's help you all will get thru. My dad passed will be 2 years the 30th of this month and I would call my mom's house for the longest to hear his voice on their answering machine. I know one day I will be able to walk hand in hand with him and catch up on what we've misssed. Praying that God will comfort you and see you thru. I know He will.

I loved the song and a great one for you to listen to. Each day there will be little things that will happen like the phone change and Russ's voice on the machine. It's inevitible since our loved ones were so much part of our lives and then they are gone. My friend use to call her mom's phone just to listen to her voice before they took the phone out. Sometimes we need these things to get us through the pain. I pray for you daily, that with each day there will be a little more sunshine for you.

This is the time when it's difficult, when everyone is back to their normal routine, and yours isn't normal, not as you knew it. So with your "sky falling", take one day at a time, remember Russ as in the video you shared with us, may you & your little guys comfort each other, and if sharing with all of us helps comfort you, then we are always here for you. A Beautiful song with a beautiful message! We are all praying for comfort, peace & strengh for you.

I believe music is a gift that God has given us to help heal the soul. We love you Julie! Our continued prayers for strength, peace and comfort!

Juilie, my heart breaks for you. I know how hard this must be for you. I continue to keep you and the boys in my thoughts and prayers. When my father passed away a few years ago, everytime I would type in a friend's email address, my fathers email would pop up because it started the same. It would make my heart stop for a second every time I saw his name. But one day it will be a pleasant reminder of your dear husband. Sending you big hugs from Florida.

Just beautiful Julie. I will listen to it again.
Last Sunday, my 13yo daughter sang a solo in one of my favourite hymns, "The Lord is my Shepherd". It was so special and so appropriate to dedicate that song to you and Russ as I was listening to it.
The greatest gift of faith is hope, and I am so glad that you know that in your heart.
You all will continue to be in my prayers.
Sherylee.
