A friend sent me this song, and I hope you enjoy it. There are many of you out there asking the same question, I'm sure. I pray for comfort, peace, joy and strength for you all this Christmas season. For those that are not struggling at the moment, I wish you the same, because we can all have a little EXTRA happiness. I am not ashamed to ask for an added prayer today, as it is a double whammy for me and the boys - Daddy (Russell's) birthday today, and Christmas without him.
Wishing you a BLESSED Christmas with family, friends and loved ones!
P.S. - Google Reader folks will have to click over for the video.

Julie .... the Lord often brings you and your boys to mind and I stop and pray for all of you. I know from personal experience that our intercession for one another makes such a huge difference .... it enables us to have peace and strength in very difficult times. Thank you for continuing to share your heart with all of us so that we can support you with our prayers and can praise and worship the Lord for His faithfulness in providing the comfort, strength and peace you need.
Merry Christmas to you and your boys!

Julie I admire your strength. How a person like you can inspire others while going through rough times, that kind of strength is rare to me. I pray to have your wisdom, strength, and inspiration one day. Loved the song! It was so wonderful.

My "baby" turned 30 today. I was single and 32 when she was born. Yesterday we got her balloons and ordered a decorated cake when we celebrated at my older daughters, so it wasn't an "oh by the way" thing. She thinks a Christmas birthday is great! She sees both families. She is mentally challenged so it isn't in her to add things up and say if she was gypped or not. I think she actually got MORE gifts because she saw so many of the family on the 24th or 25th and she is always so excited about even little gifts.
Julie I will send extra prayers for you today. I noticed Buller as your middle name. Is that your maiden name? I wonder if so, if you and Russ were distantly related? You know how when people immigrated here, a person just decided how to spell it in English? Both are unusual names, in Minnesota at least.

Only you would be thinking of all of us today! If I had to name one person that I would like to be like, Julie, it would be you. I love the photo that you've shared. It is obvious in your faces that God has you wrapped in his loving arms, and is giving you the strength and the grace that you need to face each day and each trial. The video is wonderful. I am going to send your link to a good friend who just lost her mother, so that she may find a bit of comfort as well. Thank you for sharing, Julie. You and the boys are in our prayers today and always. Happy Birthday to Russell, and wishes for a safe and blessed Christmas Day to you and the boys.

Julie~
That was beautiful....thank you for sharing it. When the video started I immediately thought of a young mother of 3 little boys whose husband was killed last year on Christmas day in Afghanistan. She has a Facebook page in his memory, but I didn't want to just post it there so I sent it to her privately. I have a feeling she will post it however. There ARE others out there asking the same questions as you are. May you and the boys continue to be blessed with comfort, peace, and strength.
