I love having gift tags when I am giving a gift. I do it for birthday, Christmas, anniversary, whatever. While the ones I am going to show you here were for Christmas, this year, I do this for all gifts.
I buy address labels at my local $1 store and stamp on them for the ocassion that it will be for. Since this was for Christmas, I used snowflakes, but the possibilites are limited only to your imagination and the stamps that you have! Tootles, have fun and happy stamping!!
Top idea. Thanks!

Great idea! I was at a loss for time this year, so the packages were either written on or had a scrap of wrapping paper folded over for our family clues. This would have been so easy! Filed in my brain! Thanks!

Cool. and then I stick them to card so they can be swing tags. Do you do that? it is another step - but the stickers are so good for producing tags in groups - I always get too fussy if I make a card tag!! Thanks for sharing

Julie - I do something similar, but run a wheel up the left edge of the row of tags. Very easy and handy!!
