I needed to make a card for our youth pastor's wife. She flew down to Oregon yesterday to get a surgery that they were not able to perform here in Saskatchewan.
This card uses very earthy colors - crumb cake, soft suede, early espresso and very vanilla. The DSP is Woodland Park, and the stamp set is Inspired By Nature. I used my Faux Brad trick again, since it means you can make brads to match any color cardstock that you have!!
The only thing I would change about this card, is to have sponged the DSP before I adhered it to the cardstock. I think it would have matched the image better, so I know for next time. Tootles, have fun and happy stamping!!

A beautiful card and I love the soothing colors. I don't feel that it lacks anything - sponging the lighter background paper may have darkened the over-all appearance and mood too much..?

Lovely card! Have you tried faux brads by punching a hole in your top layer, filling in with crystal effects, and letting the darker color of the under layer show through? It's not as defined as your faux brads (which look awesome!) but a whole lot easier.

I also, love, love, this card. I bought this stamp when it very first came out and wanted to frame some picture with it. Well, I have not. But you can bet I will try something like this for a card. Have a great day and GOD bless.

Love, love, love the card. Not only for the stamps you used but for the different angles. Layered cards are much more interesting than just a stamp and cardstock. You come up with such interesting ideas, what a talent you have.

Love this card! I agree with you about the sponging, I would have, too, but I still think it's fabulous!
I think your mojo is in high gear again!

Lovely card Julie, I think not sponging the dsp makes the image stand out even more. It's a lovely card either way.
