Ha ha - love it. Sorry to say, I've never tried Nutella (gasp, I know!), somehow because it looks like putting chocolate on bread, and that just sounds weird (even though I LOVE chocolate). I grew up on peanut butter & banana sandwiches & my youngest daughter loves them! She even recently started doing peanut butter, JELLY, and bananas, lol. May have to try that Nutella someday. :)

Susan G

I mix nutella with peanut butter and spread it on toast. YUMMY! Makes you feel like you aren't quite so awful since there's a little protein.

I grew up eating banana sandwiches with mayo. Then I heard Elvis' favorite sandwich was banana with peanut butter. Being a huge Elvis fan, I decided to try it. Good-bye mayo; hello peanut butter from then on. Now it may be time to bid peanut butter good-bye!

Queen Mary

Julie, you are so funny! Nutella and bananas are a staple!

My husband tried out peanut butter and Nutella on the kids a couple of weeks ago. I'm told that's good too! I'm trying to resist. :)

Doris D.

Being from the south, VA, we eat peanut butter and banana sandwiches all the time. Add a little honey..even better.

my DS LOVES Nutella! One way I use it is to spread peanutbutter on one of the slices, and nutella on the other. Instant reeses peanutbutter cup! lol

I love nutella with a (table)spoon as well but this sandwich simply looks...yummy !! :-p

Terry Schultz

Nothin' better than a peanut butter and banana sandwich with a cold glass of milk, but nutella is a close second for me. I recommended it to a friend whose daughter is pi-cky and its practically the only thing she eats. Susan, we know you're not from around these parts if you're eating Vegemite :o)
I just read online about Crossogue Irish Coffee Curd, Ireland’s answer to Nutella: "this rich curd is made with butter, eggs, sugar, coffee, and a touch of whiskey for good luck." Sounds yummy!

lots of ides here:

peanut butter and banana is something my husband will eat. I am going to purchase some nutella. I think he would like that too. Me peanut butter and marshmallow. Not a banana eating person. How is FLorida

I googled Nutella and found a site with a MOUNTAIN of recipes using this product.

There was even a "World Nutella Day" celebrated on February 5, 2011!

in our house...its peanut butter...nutella and bananas
always a big hit!

Lynn Smith

Am I the only one who has never heard of nutella?

We make nutella and banana french toast sandwiches... yum!

try nutella with peanut butter for a sandwich!! what could be better than that?

Just give me the jar of Nutella and a spoon. Yumyum. LOL.

Ter ;)

My kids love sliced bananas with little dollops of Nutella or peanut butter on top! An old shoe would taste good with Nutella, lol.

I eat them all the time! But I grill mine making them even yummier! My daughter-in-law is from Italy and they eat Nutella instead of peanutbutter!

My daughter's favorite sandwich is Peanut Butter and pickle!

Oo, haven't tried that one. Favourite with my boy is peanut butter and banana. I prefer banana with vegemite! Love your blog by the way. So open and real :)
