Ok, this is not a card post, but it is something that has helped me tremendously.
I used to always struggle to make suppers, at the last minute defrosting meat, or worse yet, eating out!! I had been doing some researching online about menu planning and stuff like that, after seeing all the ideas on Pinterest . I decided to try them out.
This was after a lot of thought, since we are mennonites and we have a certain style of cooking. Like everything is handed down from generation to generation and we pride ourselves on that. Well, I took the plunge, but not before I searched for a coupon code on google and got it for half price with a Groupon !!
For $24 (regular $49 - still a great deal) I get a weekly menu emailed to me, including the recipes AND SHOPPING LIST !! It comes on Friday, so I can shop on Saturday, and we are good to go for the week. This has cut my groceries bills to an average of $70CD for all of us for supper for the whole week. It does give you the estimated cost you would spend in US$, and even per meal per person.
The true test came with the eating - THEY DELIVER !! Even my kids do not complain and they have never ate so many different vegetables in their lives. I have been using it for about 6 weeks now, and not one recipe has been repeated - not even one. It even has the nutritional values chart for each meal.
They have the Classic Weekly Menu (what I have), the Vegetarian Weekly Menu, and the Gluten Free Weekly Menu. No, this is not a paid advertisement, they have NO CLUE who I am. I am just a very satified customer wanting to help my friends with whatever I can!
The Fresh 20 - my supper time hero !
Julie,
I had the same dinnertime issues as you and thanks to your suggestion I ordered it also. I have been doing it for two weeks and love it! My husband was even bragging to my older daughter about all the great meals we are having! I am thrilled! Thank you!!

went to the site and checked it out and decided to sign up cause I was recently diagnosed as having health issues related to gluten and lactose intolerances. So I signed up on the gluten free plan for the year and OMG! the foods and recipes are awesome. Thanks for sharing this with us. I am really excited about not having to plan meals for a diet that is really so new to me.

This sounds fantastic! There's just the two of us though so I'm wondering if the recipes are family sized which would be too big for us. After 47 years of cooking I'm tired of meal planning.

Does this mean you will have more time for crafts (hint, hint). Have missed you so. Glad you found such a helpful thing and glad you shared it. I am going to give it a try. Even if I use it 2 or 3 times each week, what a stress saver. Thanks for sharing!!!!

Julie - I too, have issues with meals and I have been using Fresh 20 for over a year now and have loved every meal we have had. I will recommend this fantastic company to anyone. I love that I don't have to come up with what to buy or look for the recipe figure out how much is something going to cost. And after a year there still has not been a repeated recipe. Am so glad you found it!!! And the best part of all you can save the recipes on your computer and print them out for your own convience!!!
