Well some of you have been very observant. You noticed the picture in the top left did not match the one on the right.
I CHOPPED MY HAIR !!
I needed a change, and John saw some of my photos from about 5 years ago when it was shorter. He asked me to do it again. I was already debating, but him wanting to see it on me was the green light I needed.
I have about 10 inches on a ponytail to send off to locks of love. Hopefully someone else can enjoy it now.
Completely honest....the short hair ages you about 20 years.

It looks great - love the bangs. I did it last February and sent my ponytail to Locks of Love also. I haven't gotten a haircut since but I am going for a trim this month.

Julie both hair styles look good on you. Shorter is easier to take care of, I went short this year myself. Long is nice and indeed very feminine but I think you look darling either way.

Julie, I love it! Wow seeing the photos almost side by side in this post, my husband and I agree, you look much younger with short hair. It is very becoming on you! Good job sending your hair to Locks of Love. I'm sure someone else will enjoy it. Hugs!!

I love the idea that you are sending your hair to Locks of Love, but.......I have to agree with Carla, I prefer you in the long hair. I was so thrilled to see you grow it out when you did. I think long hair is a womans crowning glory so to speak and your hair was absolutely gorgeous. there is nothing quite like a pretty girl with long hair!! I am 66 years old and still keep my hair long and color it to hide the grey so I believe one is never too old for long hair.

I think it looks beautiful!!!!! I do have something to share and this information came from my hair stylist but please check if you are in doubt. Locks of Love doesn't donate wigs anymore, they sell the wigs. Pantene does donate wigs.

Thank you for donating your hair to locks of love, an organization for young people under the age of 21 who are financilly unable to get wigs for there medical condition. I am a cancer patient now who just finished 4 - 1 week long rounds of chemo and a liver resection. Two years ago, I was stage 3A squamous cell anal cancer....Farrah Fawett Cancer. Now I am stage 4 two years later. The chemo drugs I was on this time, I lost my hair. I had my 6 and 8 year old Grandchildren cut my hair when I started to lose it and explained everything to them in simple and child terms....my 8 year old grandD is now growing her hair to donate to Locks of love too. You are beautiful...inside and out. Blessings and Merry Christmas.
