I absolutelythe card I made today !! I saw the original idea on Pinterest, but I did not have the same die as her, and hers was all one color ... and birthday. I decided to create one with the products I had, but take it into a holiday direction.
So, I cut out the hole with the second largest one in the Deco Labels die set, and then the lattice, as well. I lined up the lattice in the opening inside the card and glued it on. Next came the poinsettia (I will be sad when these are gone) from the front, attached with gold brad. Then I shadow stamped the sentiment in crumb cake and cherry cobbler.
From a distance, the sentiment looks raised, so pretty. Then, with dimensionals, I added the crumb cake CS in from behind. It looks plain, with just the white, but yet dramatic, with the lattice and the poinsettia. Didn't take long either, maybe 15 minutes from start to finish. This would be awesome whipped up in different colors and sentiments as a set. I'll have to do that next , have fun and happy stamping!!
Awesome card! Elegant yet simple at the same time. Hope you and yours are enjoying a blessed holiday season. vickie
