I cannot believe we are 9 weeks in to our stamping challenges !! Mostly, because I can't believe how good it feels to be stamping again, I even make extra cards on the side * *. Yes, I will show them to you, as well !
This week, Lindsey and I went with another sketch, and I had to make a baby card. Here is why !!
My baby sister just had HER first baby, Olivia Paige, and she is soooo adorable (3 days old now). Oh how I wish I could be there to kiss and cuddle her, but for now, I will FaceTime and dream.
The sketch we went with is pretty simple, but with lots of opportunity!
Those could even be buttons or whatever you can think of, but here is the card I made ...
Yay for pink and purple !! I took a couple sheets of DSP from the Basic Grey pad "Eva", and it went perfectly with the Rich Razzleberry ribbon. I made the flowers from another sheet, and ran them through my crimper ( Tutorial Here ), just did not split the layers of paper. I held them together with the large patterned brads, and attached them with pop up glue dots. The sentiment was inked first in elegant eggplant (stamped off once) and then again in rich razzleberry before going on the card. You can't really see it here, but it has a richer tone to it!
Make sure you go and check out Lindsey's card, I'm sure it is a fabulous as always !! Also, head over to Splitcoast and check out the cards from last weeks challenge : SFR8 Gallery. We would love if you joined us, so link back here with your card or on Splitcoast using the keyword SFR9. Also, if you have any ideas for some challenges, let us know, we'd love to stamp along with you in that way too! Have fun and happy stamping!!
It is so good to see you posting regularly again!
