themilesmom that is!! She was the Featured Rubber Artist today, and so I headed to her gallery to find something to CASE (Copy And Selectively Edit OR Copy And Steal Eveything). This is the card that I chose to use as my guide, and this was what I stamped this morning!
First off, the base shoulda been carribean, I'm not liking the close to cocoa AT ALL ! Other than that, I kinda like this card. May just have to make another though, *wink, wink*. My color combo was the cocoa, lovely lilac, pretty in pink and white CS.
I stamped the base with the print pattern with cocoa to be the "quilt" for my jammybella. She was a RAK sent to me from Allissa *THANKS*! I colored her in with my aqua painter and inks from the pad lids, same as the CS. I punched 2 scalloped squares and joined them together to make a rectangle mat in pink. I ran the lilac layer through the Cuttlebug with the bloom dots folder, that I got from All That Scraps.
I matted that on the cocoa and then placed the organdy and pink grosgrain ribbon overtop , before mounting my bella with dimensionals. I stamped the sentiment from Flowers for a Friend in black, cause there is no better friend than a teddy, but sometimes, you have a real life friend like that too! Have fun and happy stamping!!
PS - For those of you who have emailed me about coasters, I bought them through a friend on SCS (Thanks Peggy)! I got about 500, and no, I'm not selling them...LOL! But you can click here and scroll to the bottom of the post, since I posted the links to some searches.
