This one just may have been my favorite of the YEAR !!!
I should NOT have showed this one, since it just reminds me that I should get this template up. But, it IS my favorite thing I created that month, so it is good to have a reminder! More blog treats to come, have fun and happy stamping!!
I received another birthday card, and this one is from Janneke, one of my fellow Design Team Members over at All That Scraps.
I am so sad that this is my last month with such an awesome group of ladies. I have been in tears every time I log into the forum, and read a message from someone. I have been with the group since the very beginning, so it is going to be hard to say goodbye.
I am still going to be using these images, I mean how CUTE are they ?!? Christine does such an amazing job with her stamps.
Well, I had best jet. I have to make a gingerbread house at school with Jayden. I also have my last class of 2009 tonight, and I am excited for the Christmas project that we are doing. There will be a tutorial coming up in the next week or so. That way, y'all can make one, too. Have fun and happy stamping!!

Dylan is doing a lot better, itch wise. We found something else that worked amazing, a vinegar and baking soda bath. We gave it to him one night before bed, and by the next morning - NO MORE ITCHING!! Nothing!! So he gets that bath everyday now, and we don't need any anti-itch cream at all. He does have some infected pox, though, so I had to go to the doctor about that. Otherwise, I think he is on the mend. Now for the good news ...
A friend of mine had a baby - YAY !! The best part ? On her husband's side of the family, it is the first. First time grandparents are so cute to watch, don't you think? While parents have the lovingly scared look in their eyes (they just don't know what is all to come), grandparents have been through it all, and just ENJOY IT !! So, after the boys went to bed last night, I had to whip out a card.
I havebeen trying to come up with more interesting layouts, and I make a record of them in a sketchbook. As per the card, you can tell the baby is a little girl, and you know she is going to be spoiled with love. The set I used is Gingersnaps Oh Baby! from All That Scraps. The sentiment is from a retired Stampin' Up! hostess set.
I am also trying to use more than one type of patterned paper on a card. So many of you talented card makers can mix and match your DP and come up with amazing creations, and I have a HARD time with it. This is the only one I will post for you ... lol. Maybe the next ones will keep getting better. Have fun and happy stamping!!

I used only 2 of the many images and one of the sentiments that are in the Winter Kit. I stamped the girl, colored her with Copics, and then added the stickles to her cuffs. There are so many more images to be seen. But, since I am only one stop, you need to click on!!

This project uses 2 stamp sets that will be released - AmyR Snowflakes, and Eskimo Sayuri.
I stamped the snowflakes all over the mini sack in tempting turquoise, pretty in pink and lovely lilac. I then used the same shades to color in my image with Copics. I even colored my tissue paper to match !!
A cool thing about my image is the textures I added.
The little girl has Liquid Applique around her hood and cuffs. The little bear is covered in fun flock. He is so fuzzy, and the kids just love "petting" him. Click on the picture to see it closer.

Diane created a great stamp set for this time of year, and great for gifting. It is called Warm Cocoa Wishes and will be available at All That Scraps on November 30.
I really like how this card turned out. The reds and caramels make it feel as warm as the sentiment says. The cup is paper pieced, butI colored the shadow lines on it with my grey Copic.
I wanted the topping on the cocoa and the candy cane to have a realistic feel to them. I used Liquid Applique for the whipped cream, and colored the candy cane with the Sakura Glaze pen.
I added adhesive pearls to the scallops and tied on some ribbon. This card is 4.25 X 4.25 square, so it still fits inside a regular envelope. How many of you like the Swiss Pixies as much as I do? This particular cutie is Nora, and she is now ready to grace someone's home this Christmas. She is available over at All That Scraps.
I colored her with Copics and then coated her wings and the snow with stickles. The sentiment is from AmyR's Christmas Card Greetings. The colors I used on this card are elegant eggplant, tempting turquoise, and almost amethyst. The brads are the DoodleBug Sugar Coated Brads and I put them through the smaller Spellbinders Snowflake.
I rounded the bottom corners, and I like the look it gives. So subtle, but noticeable, making it different . What can you do to make your card different today? Have fun and happy stamping!!
I got a phone call from my sister. It seems her little girl got into her makeup, her blush was in 5 million pieces, and her lipstick was almost gone. So, when I was coloring my image, I thought of her and had to make this card.
Her cheeky grin and the way she is trying to look so innocent, makes me smile. I colored her with Copics, and added the extra "makeup" to her little face. This image is from the Chubby Pencil Line.

When I see this image, I just want to give her a hug! She looks so shy, but her eyes are asking for a friend. This is Shy Kiki La Rue from All That Scraps, and this card is for the ATS Challenge.
The challenge this week was to use an older image, and since I had not yet had a chance to ink this one up (from August!!!), she is even kinda new ... hehehe.
I colored her with Copics and and cut her out with the long scallop nesties. I also used the Flower Creations die to make the flowers on the bottom. I absolutely LOVE that die, because it is perfect for customization!!

You are actaully getting TWO peeks here today. The sentiment is from Amy's new Christmas Words, and the cutie tangled in the lights is from Christmas Time. These will both be available at All That Scraps on November 2.
I used more traditional colors for this card - glorious green and ruby red. I made a flag for my sentiment to cover a boo-boo ... hehehe.
I colored the image with Copics, and then covered the bulbs with Crystal Effects. You can see here how they shine. I also punched out a vellum snowflake, covering it in stickles. Click on the picture for a closer view.
